    Default high boost misfire

i have a slight problem, when driving normal and idling, my car is fine but when i get on it it starts to misfire at 10 psi+, now below 10psi its fine but once it goes above it randomly misfires and sputters and the smell of raw fuel is present. now i changed the plugs, gapped them to .33, checked rotor cap and button all is fine. its had a msd blaster coil, and a probanator chip. i had a similar problem with this earlier and it ended up being the plug wire wasnt fully pushed onto the plug so i pushed them onto as far as possible. what else could cause this problem?

hmm.... i know, its kinda obvious, but to me its definately adding TOO much fuel, or not enough ignition. So the next step, are you sure its injecting the proper amounts of fuel? and are you sure that its igniting a nice STRONG spark?

i mean it stock other than the chip and i assume its getting a nice hot spark because of the msd blaster 2 coil.

I had this problem with my car. under full boost at WOT it would start cutting out. It was just like you said, plug wires coming loose. its a problem MSD has. just ziptie them on tight and give it a go.

Do this first and see what happens. If it doesnt get better go to .24 gap. I am not saying to leave your plugs gapped that low but it will tell you if you have a weak ignition system. If the gapping doesnt improve anything then it may be tuning, a bad wire, bad dizzy, etc. There are a ton of things that can go wrong. If you cant figure it out feel free to bring it by for us to take a look at.

well i founf the problem, i put a ohm meter to each wire and stock there supposed to be at 7,000 ohms of resistance, well all were good but one and it was putting like 30,000 ohms so i took some ngks of my buddies accord and it solved my problem, now i just have to buy some the fit properly

here's the checklist i usually go through:
    1. plugs gapped to 28
    2. stock or ngk wires
    3. stock (preferably) cap and rotor (check to see if bad)
    4. stock or msd ignition (return to stock unless making over 400whp)
    5. hacked up wiring
    6. start cursing
