    Default d16Y7 idel screw

A friend screwed my idle adjust screw all the way in trying to adjust my idle thinking it was the problem. Well it wasn't but now its fixed i need to know how to set the screw back to the right idle. I know on some cars its easy just turn it all the way in then back it ut a few rounds ???

The screw is located on your throttle body. It takes a large flat head. Just slowly turn it back out until you get your desired RPM, which should probably be around 750rpm.

In that case, you're first step is to get the timing set. Set your idle screw after timing.

You're idle speed isn't going to change your timing. Just set it at a reasonable speed, adjust timing to wherever you want it, then re-adjust idle if necessary.

i need everything to be back stock so no change in mpg or power lol
So all the marks will be lined up when i do the light and adjust of the dist ?
then just idle the screw to what i need ?

I don't know about all the marks you're talking about, but if you're talking about the ones on the crankshaft pulley, they are timing marks that are a certain degree of timing each. There is a point on the block that you gauge the marks with.

I'm not positive which mark is what on your engine. It's been a couple of years since I've toyed with Honda engine timing. I Googled "d16y7 timing," and I sourced this out for you:

jump the svc connector, set the timing to 12* and set idle to 750-850 rpm if you want it back stock.
