97 mustang wont idle.
alright so i just installed a 70mm FRPP throttle body, granetelli upper intake plenum, and a 1/2" plenum spacer. car will crank, get up to about 1500 ish rpm as usual then it just stumbles and dies. feels like a vaccum leak from HELL. only thing i can think of is that when i was putting the EGR valve back on, one of the bolts broke into the new plenum so ive only got one bolt holding on the valve.

No bullshit, it's not the place.
It has a leak....A smoke machine will work or carb cleaner
spray break parts cleaner in the areas where the gaskets go. dont use carb cleaner its to flammable an can ignite if done wrong.
I been using carb cleaner longer then you been alive fooll
Carb cleaner does the same as brake cleaner and it will only burn the amount you spray....For example if you spray .2oz then if it caught on fire its nothing.But if you spray the whole car then your looking for some new skin....
Also Carb and brake cleaner can do the same damage.....Spray a Dizzy with brake cleaner and carb on a cracked dizzy cap and see what happens...they both burn
it was leaking from the broken bolt on the EGR. couldnt get the bolt out, so i used a shitload of copper RTV and it sealed. thanks.
