Default 2 codes need to fix asap!!!!

Got a 98 honda accord lx 4cyl auto. The codes are P1706 and P1457. The P1706 says that lockup clutch does not engage probably cause open or short circuit condition in gear selection switch circuit. Poor electrical connection. Failed gear selection switch. WHERE IS THIS SWITCH LOCATED I GOOGLED AND IM RETARDED AND STILL CANT FIND IT!!! and the p1457 emission control system leak detected ( control canister system ) probably cause lose fuel cap. vapor canister saturated, failed vent solenoid, failed purge solenoid. WHERE IS THE VAPOR CANISTER VENT SOLENOID AND PURGE SOLENOID?!

the purge soleniod i think on those are on the back on the intake manifold somewhere, the vent valve i believe is on top of the gas tank, you have to drop the tank. try tightening gas cap and reset code. if it pops back on, you have an evap leak.

P1706 Means you will be needing to rebuild or replace your tranny.. Its a problem inside the tranny!!!

P1457 Most causes is the gas cap check and see if a OEM honda is on there if not replace the gas cap with a OEM only!!!
