I had one on my car installed about two years ago. Im looking to remove it but have not clue as to go about doing this. Do i have to buy a whole new ignition system or just disconnect and reconnect some wires?

depends on the car...once i put the cage in mine i'm thinking about a visible battery disconnect (gotta run a bypass for the radio so it doesn't lose its memory), fuel cutoff, and push start. Fully prepared for the track but still with full interior.

Of course even after that people still won't be able to start it without knowing what else has to be done

Who cares if it's a cool mod or rice. If you want it then put in on because this sport/hobby is all about doing what you like to your vehicle. Who cares what I think or anybody else.

i got a switch in my car, i love it, and people are like "thats how you crank your car" like its some kinda magic trick install was easy i just ran a hot wire to a switch and the other to my starter....as mentioned above a little trick and flip of the switch and the car cranks, helps prevent theft if you do it good....
