    Default dizzy not giveing spark

    ight got a ej8 with d16y8 in it the car turns over and sound like it wants to start but doesnt its getting fuel but no spark through the wires tested it with screw driver fireing order is good everything pluged in right any help would be repped thanks

    Hm, coil in both of the dizzies coulda been bad. I would try a NEWnew coil in one of them first, and then if it still doesnt work, check any possible CEL codes there could be, and so on and so forth, move down the troubleshooting checklist...

    Ignitor? could be the spark plug coils that are bad also.. or maybe the dizzy is just bad, try a new dizzy and see if the car starts? or the coils first, since they are cheaper..

    and all you need is a phillips screw driver and five mins to fix it.

    hey man get a coil from your buddies dizzy that is in working condition and put it in yours take 5 mins they go out easily like i told you last night at the varsity

    did it still no luck i think that coil is bad i bought a dizzy off a member last nite but its a msd dizzy so there is no coil when i opened it so i guess cuz its made msd so does that mean i have to run the whole kit

    yup you have to run the external coil
