    Default Boost Loss HELP!

Alright, im not too sure whats wrong with my car.

Ok so ive had a crack in my down pipe for some time, i tack welded it and it fixed it for the most part. Now my down pipe is cracked all the way around so i welded it up again, (i know i just need to buy a new one) Just dont have the bucks right now. Anyway, now my waste gate doesnt make much noise anymore and ive lost alot of boost and power. Does anyone have any ideas whats up? You think it got thrown out of tune, or having no back pressure at all on my turbo mess the turbo up.

    Throw me some help guys.

    Thanks!

Back pressure makes no difference with the turbo. The less you have, the better. Also, welding it probably will never work. The weld will absorb your oil, and fail unless you really know your prep work.

Also, it sounds like a loose clamp/torn hose etc.

    Pressure test it.
