    Default i have a question about a 93 740il

    ok i obtained a 1993 bmw 740il today. the guy had the heater core bust on it like a week ago. he paid almost $1000 having it replaced but when it went the trans quit working. you can put it in gear the rpms will change but wont do anything. toyota (which is who replaced the heater core) said it took out the trans ecu but bmw says its under the console. it says trans program+ on the info center on the gauge cluster. any ideas?
