u have to have it inspected by the state or a place thats certified to do so , to get a rebuilt tittle and no ur insurance want go up at all , just the value of the car will be low because of salvage title

Everyone I've ever known to try and get a salvage title has to go through the most trouble to get that stuff straightened out.

    IMHO, not worth it.

Make sure that whoever has the title (insurance company or third party) actually knows where the title is. I had this happen to me once and the insurance company lost the title in the system and i never was able to get the car finalized. Wasted my hard earned money, but its a long story involving alot of different things.

you have to fix it and have it re-inspected to legally register it with a REBUILT title.
