    Default The Bare Essentials

So I'm doing a crazy engine swap.
    Nissan v6 into a datsun B210.

I'm at the point to where I need to start planning out wiring and such.

I am trying to figure out what I can run to get the engine running.
The basic things I need to hook up to get the engine to run and drive.
It is a Nissan VG30E out of a 91 Maxima.

I know its kind of a vague question but i figured some one who maybe has done a somewhat odd swap or built a track car( I plan to drift this set-up)
might be able to point me in the right direction.

    I already have an ecu
    an ignition coil

    Any input would be helpful.
    Thanks.

how about a maxima wiring harness.... or even easier to get. 300zx harness. you need 300zx headers. tranny. and yoke.......

best bet is to buy a junk 300zx 5 speed......

It's been a common swap for the 510 in the past.

    Step by step instructions here:

BUT I would look into something lighter and more powerful like a CA18DET.

    Thanks for the replies.

I have a harness, came with the engine. Its everything up to the ecu connection.
    I have a 5 spd from a z32.
Im trying to find a ford 8.8 rear end.

I have most of my hardware, been planning this swap for a while( too long). Dont really know what I was looking for in an answer. I just figured some one who knew would be like, " all you you need to hook up is xyz...". but u guess theres no magic bullet for a swap like this.

I guess it was a stupid question.

Thanks for the link also, seen that place a while ago.

Internal combustion engines only need three things to run: spark, fuel, and air. So whatever it takes to get those three and you're good to go.
