    Default Starter rebuilding...

After debating on which one was giving me the slow startup, i went with the cheapest the battery!.. but my luck it was the starter...lol So ive been thinking about rebuilding my starter and saving some money... ive seen starter rebuild kits, and the shims, and starter bushings...etc. I havent taken it off yet, and checked it out. i wont until tommorrow after work.

Any suggestions on what to get in advance....or anyone ever tackled this..

Not if you don't know what you're doing.

Might chip your flywheel. That would be worse.

I have not rebuilt one with the rebuild kit. But a freind had some issues with his starter sticking so we pulled it apart and cleaned it all out. Now it works like a charm. Its not really as hard as some make it out to seem. Just be real careful not to loose any parts lol...
