    how hard is it to do this swap . 4g63 into a 88.89. colt need to know. wana get out of hondas and do a swap into one of these cars . . is it a drop in swap or what . lmk any info please

    not hard been done plenty of times. you are betta off going to DSMtuners or another dsm site. Not many DSM guys here. Bunch of Honda loving here.

    88 and 89 are totally different generations. The 89-92 is the most common swap, and it relatively easy, as far as swaps go. Now everyone is wanting to swap into the 93-96 model. For the 97-01, they switched the tranny to the driver's side, so only EVO IV-IX engine will work.

    If you can find one of the 1500 original turbo cars, the swap is even easier. This is my 1989 Mirage turbo, with Galant VR4 RS (jdm-only) swap:
