    OEM Exedy kit for 130

    or

    Genuine OEM Mazda Kit from Mazda for 100

    Thoughts?

    stage 1 oem replacement vs. a oem hands down oem. y get a knock of for more when u can get the real deal for less. this is a no brainer.

    the oem exedy kits are supposedly a factory replacement. you need to make sure for $100 from mazda they are including the pressure plate, clutch disc & throwout bearing.. they will all be included with the exedy kit. IF the mazda kit is still cheaper i would go with it, although they will be nearly identical clutches.

    yup oem for stock is always the way to go if the price is close, if its cheaper then thats amazing. priced a clutch at my work today (advance auto parts) and it was 160.. so if mazda has them for 100 thats where ill be going as well

    Its not from Mazda. A guy bought it, then sold the car, so now he is selling the clutch.

    As for with one to get I would go with the cheaper one only because more then likly they are the same clutch. Most import OEM clutches are made by Daikin who also make Exedy's stage 1 OEM replacement clutches.

    Here is a pic of a OEM Honda pressure plate that we just pulled out of a 06 SI yesterday and it is next to a Exedy Stage 1 pressure plate that we ordered for it. Notice the Daikin symbol in the same place.
