    No over heating.
Cable for valve it fully functioning. Heater control valve doesn't seem to be bad.. Way to test it?
Can a speed sensor cause speedo and vtec problems since the doesn't think it's moving?

I had the speedo and vtec problem in my cb7.
Most likely it's the speed sensor. Vtec doesn't function if the speed sensor is messed up.

x2. as for the overheating problem...heater core? check to see how hot your heater hoses going the the firewall get and make sure there is circulation to the heater core.

The speed sensor was unplugged.. Plugged it back in and it bounced around/ worked ok for about half a mile and now just bounces around 10 when coasting and falls to 0 on accelleration

buy it for the tranny you have, the plugs are the same. check the thermostat, need to check to see if vtec is properly wired. check the exhaust when coolant is full and car is warmed to see if it smells like coolant. that means a blown head gasket.
    About to approach beast mode

like said already. you must be over 20mph inorder for vtec to work. so you need a new speed sensor. one from a stock accord will work. like cb7 years. are you sure the heater lines are actually hooked up and not looped or anything.

    neg reps please. thanks

ok so one person says the vss for the tranny, another says for the car. which is it? this morning the speedo worked for about 2 miles and i THINK vtec popped in first. the tranny is a jdm m2b4.. so where do i get a vss for that.
