Default Installing new steering wheel in Civic and missing clock spring, anything else?

So I'm putting a new steering wheel and airbag into a car that had an airbag deploy. I took the old wheel off and noticed that there is no clock spring I think. Also, where does this connector plug into? Would it plug into the clock spring?

I included pictures. It looks like there is nowhere for the yellow connector on the wheel to go.

Any help would be sweet. This is a 96-98 model Civic.

You are missing this, the srs reel. I think this one is from an eg, but you get the idea. Half of yours is still there but the guts are missing.

The reel goes where the blue arrow is. The wires go through the steering wheel where your plug is now. Your yellow srs plugs will plug together and be behind the plastic where the red arrow is. There is also a black plug with one wire. It is the ground for your horn and will plug to a single spade terminal on your steering wheel behind the air bag.

Thanks for the help before guys, I'm a little confused still. I was sold this reel on the left as a 96-98 srs reel. The one on the right is the broken one that was in my car (a 96 HX).

Here's the back side, obviously very different:

The red plug was able to fit into the new reel, but in a totally different location. There are also two black wires, as opposed to the yellow and green on the old one. I'm guessing these could be spliced but I'm not sure which is which.

After I put the steering wheel on, the black plug shown in the first image of this post fits perfectly but there's only this single black wire (I'm guessing for the horn).

However when I hold the airbag up, there is the yellow plug (obviously an SRS plug as they're always yellow) as well as a black plug.

Normally I would think that these go into the SRS reel but this reel doesn't have these. The airbag and reel that I got were said to have come out of the SAME CAR. If I got the wrong part, what the hell did that reel come from if it doesn't have a yellow SRS plug?

Can anyone point me in the right direction, again? And does anyone have an SRS reel that I can use for sale?

Hope you can get your money back. It should have atleast another plug (yellow) with two wires, and if you have cruise... another two wire plug. the reel for a dx is only $105 from the dealer but an ex is $355, don't know why there is such a difference in price for just a cruise control plug

Yeah I had no idea when I bought it. It was only 30 bucks though and they threw in a good airbag so I should be able to sell that eventually.

Yeah the dealer prices are pretty nuts. I might pay 100 if I'm in a bind but no way for 350 - although I do have friends that work for Honda so I'd get a little bit of a discount.

I'll hold off for a bit and see if I can get a used one and if not I'll bite the bullet and go with a non cruise control type.
