has anyone changed a convertible top before? is it too hard to do?? should i take it to the shop?? how much does it normally run to get a top replaced if you already have the new top?

with or without the frame? if you're changing it out with the frame, and its a manual top, its really easy. otherwise, check out a shop manual for your car and determine if its too much for you to handle on your own. i've never done one with a motorized top, and i've never needed to take my soft top off the frame.
