You shouldn't have to Gap your sparkplugs..If you gap it to .44,then in about a 1000 miles,it will be @ .45...So leave the spark plugs how you buy it.At least the ngk spark plugs.

what do you mean? you mean cause of the number being a odd? i mean i have gapp tools that equal to .043 so its not that big a deal. im guessin your saying .044 cause its easier to get?

every place is going to read something different 1 manual says .39-.43 others say .038-.44. personally i think like ryan your over thinking it. if your manual says 43 do it.
thats all i wanted to know. just if it was correct or not.
i also made this thread before i had the manual in my hands.
