    Default gapping for b20 spark plugs?

    anyone know the gapping for b20 spark plugs? i got new plugs for the motor last night and i need to know the gap.

    i checked the haynes manual and its .043

    yeah. accept im going by the haynes manual and it says .043? so tell me why thats wrong?

    You shouldn't have to Gap your sparkplugs..If you gap it to .44,then in about a 1000 miles,it will be @ .45...So leave the spark plugs how you buy it. At least the ngk spark plugs.

    what do you mean? you mean cause of the number being a odd? i mean i have gapp tools that equal to .043 so its not that big a deal. im guessin your saying .044 cause its easier to get?

    every place is going to read something different 1 manual says .39-.43 others say .038-.44. personally i think like ryan your over thinking it. if your manual says 43 do it.

    both answers was correct i got to .44. that should have also been your pre-gap if u got the right plugs.
