probably a screwed wire to the hud, or maybe just a loose connection on the terminal, try checking the interior fuses to, may help you out.
well it kinda idles lower when it doesnt come on and my my hids and radio turn off im assuming ground off of the battery
and thanks everybody for the repsonses...
man id say that your altanator is fucked if your lights run low and radio doesnt work, but please just check your fuse box and fuses to be sure it isnt that first
If it's got tits or tires it'll cost you money...
its not fuses. fuse is either all or nothing. but i am in agreement with the alt. have it test.Originally Posted by sammyt
I had a problem like that on a 90 hatch.. the alt wasn't charging full power.. but it would charge the batt enough to not kill the car while driving. Battery light would come on after driving for 10 mins and the lights/radio would die. Bass from the system would make my lights cut off and make the car skip and miss. lol
Get the batt tested and see if it's still holding a good charge.. then try replace the alt.. and if it doesnt fix it.. return it and then start checking grounds. GL![]()

while the car is running, take the neg. terminal off the battery. if its dies, its the alternator.
