    can the 5.7 liter v8 be swap into the first gen tundra

    I think its to wide. Plus it would be an absolute wiring nightmare in addition to the trans being different etc. the 3ur isn't a cheap engine to come by also.

    i just priced out a partial engine assembly for the 5.7 at work and the engine alone is about 20,000. that and you still need the 6 speed tranny plus wiring harness and all the little goodies. your better off buying the new tundra.
