    Default Car shutting off

My brother has a 97 accord, and around 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm the car will sputter and shut off while driving. I have to give it gas over 2000 rpm to have the car running. It does backfire too from time to time. CEL light is on for 02 sensor but thats always been on for a while now. help!

no just unbolt the cat from the header u can leave the side to the catback attached. u just need to see if it will rev without the cat blocking it. wont hurt shit.
