    Default Machine shop around Cobb Co?

    I need a flywheel resurfaced somewhere in Cobb County.. it seems the shops I have called want nearly as much as a new flywheel cost. Anyone used someone with good work & rates? And yes I have looked thru the sticky, no luck.

    I used a chevron (or maybe it was a shell?) off south cobb dr and cooper lake. its somewhere in that area, they have a shop in the gas station, they resurfaced my brakes for me really cheap. it was a good price too, everyone was trying to charge me a crap load and they charged me like 10 bucks or something.

    Called them and they said they outsource :-/

    yes im trying to boost my post count when the only section i post in 90% of the is GT. seeing is how ive been on here since 2003 and only have 4,854. i dont really think i care to much about my post count. next time search sorry noobs.

    First off, don't be a smartass when asking for help. Secondly, just flip open the yellow pages. Most machine shops usually charge 40-50 bucks to resurface a flywheel HOWEVER, if all the ones in your area seem to be a lot higher, then that is the going rate for the area, and you can either drive a little farther, or just get a new flywheel as mentioned.
