    Exclamation idle help

    Car: Da integra
    Motor: built ls

    problem:

    well about a week or two ago my ago my car would sputter at crusing speed. it would idle fine and run fine wot...(wtf?) so i have been trying to locate the problem ever since it started messing up. well i go to start the car up two days ago after changing my spark plug wires, and front and rear brakes and it the idle went all the way to 4k...(wtf?x2). i shut it off and turn it back on, the same thing. i checked for vacuum leaks i checked my injectors, i checked my iav. what else could it be?

    does it like quit sputtering when u give it a little more gas? my buddy del sol was doing the same thing idle perfect then it would sputter at crusing speed but he changed his spark plugs in till this day the car runs great!

    yea then read up on how to adjust ur fast idle.. its right under ur TB bro.. just take it off and screw the plunger thingy in with a Phillips head sd.. csmiths did this trick on my car and it was PERFECT! G/L courtlan

    It could also be your fuel pump or fuel filter. Try changing your filter first. I guarantee that if it hasn't been changed in years it will look like chocolate milk in there. You don't want that running through your engine, now do ya?
