You sure about thosoe numbers? APRs chip for the 2.0T for the A4 and New Passat claims 252 @ the crank...275whp is INSANE.

Even at that though, real nice numbers for such minimal mods. I say go for it

True, that that still wouldnt account for drivetrain loss. That would put it at around 275hp, but now whp. Regardless it is a lot of power for minimal mods, just not sure if it is really THAT much.

When matched with performance tuning such as our new O.CT iPRO flashloaded software these cars have produced 273BHP
thats milltek them selfs! so iam sure its a bit high but they are saying 273 to the wheels/BHP w/ the kit!

Oh yeah, I love modded cars, but once heavily modded, IMO, they are no fun to drive regularly. I prefer driving our stock GLI over my modded GLS (I sold recently)
The wagon is simple, smooth, and when you mess with the bull...you'll get the horns.
I still will have a heavily modded car, thats no secret, but built slowly, and w/ more detail since it owont need to be driven much.

benwaballs, you want an Audi or VW? Have you test drove one of the 2.0Ts yet? Even in Auto version, they will roll...(6spd auto makes the auto thing less of a deal )

I hope the aftermarket companies for the B6 Passat are better then for the B5/B5.5 since there are NO race springs available now, sport for most companies is the max drop with just a spring. Also 20s right now are a PITA to fit, I could never get away with the tires you had on the Jetta on my Passat (which never really made any sense since the Passat is a bigger car).

Anyone thats known me for a while knows I will get that 225/35/20 under it, (I also could drop to a 30 series if need be)I own a sawzall, and will cut, bend, or break as needed. I never see 20"s on Passats, I know there is a reason, Its not supposed to fit... It wont be easy...but if it was everyone would do it.
BTW, My jetta had to be "modded" to fit the 20"s...

20s on a Passat has been done, ive seen 5 or 6 cars with it (not that many so still uncommon). I mean it IS possible and I saw the Jetta so I have no doubt you would be able to do it. I havent seen any on the new platform, but on the current (B5/B5.5) 20s just look to big (if thats possible). Here is picture of what I mean:

It could just be the kit on that one becuase the front looks RIDICULOUSLY high off the ground.

However 20s done right (and im sure you will do it make it look good) can look amazing:

    This is with a 225-30-20:

I know the B6 is fairly larger then the previous platform so it may be easier to fit. Anyway, im sure whatever you do will look awesome

Oh I agree, some cars 20s look too big, Heck in some pics of my Jetta they looked too big, like below... Other times they looked like a 19". Also some wheels dont look good big, they get bulky. I appreciate the confidence, I hope all will go as planned, if so I'll have 2 very unique rides comin out in the spring.

The only thing i dislike about having HUGE wheels is how small it makes the brakes look. Your rear rotors almost look non existent under the dubs.
So are you going to have both the GN and the new Passat?

No, you are right, The upgraded brakes from EBC still looked tiny.. The fronts had to get the brake pad backing plate grinded because they were rubbing the wheel hub...The size prob really is the hub, not the tire as most people think, and I ran the larger 35 series tire since I went 8.5" wide and wanted a stretched Euro tire look.Ironically my 20" pkg accelerated better and stopped better than the 19" pkg, weight is a big deal fo sho.

And, Yes, a GN and passat will be out in the spring..Passat lightly modded, the GN will be heavily modded, and may take til summer to surface....
