Exclamation Guys I seriously need help, its my meal ticket

My 94 Civic ex will turn over crank and stop immediatly, sometimes it will just turn over, but every once in a great blue moon it cranks right back up, until i actually need it for important things, like how i missed work today, i checked the fuel filter it was fine, so i assume the pump is too since its before the filter, now i sprayed some throttle boddy cleaner stuff (cousin said it would clean my idoler control valve or something from reving up annd down) and it would usually crank has anyone ran into this problem? can i get some help i mean i seriouslly need to know whats wrong with it

pull the idle air control valve off, clean it with oxygen system cleaner and do the same for you FITV. if that doesnt fix it then check your map sensor, if it isnt seated right, it will cause the car to die instantly. if thats not it then check your compression.

check the fuel pump.. that's what happened me when I had my first RX7.. car would run.. then die. I could get it to stay running from time to time. But it would usually be a fight. Changed the fuel pump and didn't have a problem after that.

Compression test would let you know tho.

dude u have a fuel issues. check your pressure at the rail. if u dont have a tester. pull each plug after u bump it over a few times and see if they are wet and smell like gas. then get back to me.

If it won't crank, bang on the Main relay. sometimes it will come back to life and drive.

    Happen to me before.

Two MOST COMMON FUEL RELATED ISSUES WITH HONDA's are....

    1. No gorund @ T-stat housing
    2. Main relay takes a dump...

Had this happen to a friend's camry...guess what it was? It was because his battery was all gunked up...

Clean your terminals really well and then try cranking it.
