    Default driver side window problem

i think the motor to my window has a problem. i went to honda to ask them wut they might think it is, and they gave me that "it'l cost u $86 just for us to look at it, and from wut ur saying, it could range from $300- $400 dollars to fix"...so i said to hell with them and decided to ask u guys. he mentioned something about a "motor regulator" (have no idea wut that is)

i got some pics i'm going to upload and a link to a video i made of it going up and down. the motor seems to put the window off track no matter how many times i put it back on track. i make sure all the rubber seals are where they are suppose to be, but they get bent back out of shape and the window doesn't do right. maybe someoen else has had this problem and knows an inexpensive fix to my problem

i'd like to do the work on my own b/c i'm on a budget, and we got plenty of civics in the junkyard so extra parts is not a problem.

this is when the window is all the way up on it's own

this is the window after it gets stuck going down

and this is when i force the window down b/c it's hot outside and i have no fre-on

here is the youtube vid of it going from completely open to how it wants to close.

hope someone knows wut to do.

Take the door panel off, and let the window up, and watch the guide. Check for missing bolts, at the bottom of the door.. they might have loosened up from all the years of door closing.

I hate power window problems... i had to fix both of my rear windows in my 929.
