Lightbulb Looking forward to a new......

Ok so in a previous post, i found out a good difference between the B and K series motors. So know I think I have made my mind of finding a EK with or without motor. Putting a new on in there going for the Integra LS trany and giong straight for the K200 ECU and a Turbo. Not yet sure if this is the best thing I should do or not. Please tell me any problems, or how much something costs. because I really am wanting to do this. And once i get set on something (and its turbo'd) its hard for me to let got. lol.... so please help me out. with sites, people to talk to, and maybe someone who has one there selling, ANYTHING.

well, a LS tranny isnt goin to work w/ a k20 motor if thats what ur sayin. Just make sure u know the cost involved w/ getting one of those motors and putting in a EK before u get started. Its defintily not cheap.

if thats not what u were saying (not really sure cuz of ur wording) then my bad

    K20 swap into an EK = ~$8,000.
    Turbo kit = ~$3,500

Also, when considering such a project, there's tons of other things you've got to buy.

    Engine management - $1,000
    Clutch - $600
Suspension (traction bars, coilovers, etc)- $800-$1,500
Preventive maintenance (New seals, gaskets, radiator, fans) - $300-$500
Other odds and ends (fuel pump, injectors, tuning) - $700-$900

Don't think all you've got to buy is an engine and a turbo kit and think you're done. You're just now getting your feet wet.

I don't know where the LS tranny comes into the mix, but uhh... ok.

EK+B18C1(or C5)=Fun, reliable, cheap, peppy little car.

how much are you planing to spend?

K swap civics cost a pretty penny even if you do get a K20a3..

my self id say get your self a GSR swap and build it and a nice turbo setup..
