so i recently became car-less. and instead of building an EK9 i thought of buying one from japan and having it imported. has anyone from IA imported or know of someone who can help me out on this. and maybe some PROS and CONS of doing this.

Read the importing rules first, call and ask questions, speak with people who have done it, not nearly as hard as some people make it out to be, especially for a Civic.
I'm curious, how would YOU build a ek9? Maybe a Ej8, but no a ek9. lol good luck though
do a search ive seen this question like 8 times in the last year. i remember 1 post had great info in it.
Hell, I think someone should just do a write up and sticky it... This is pretty much a weekly question, it seems.Originally Posted by no mo hondas

lmk if you wanna try to import....i can get you rates![]()
I would get one thats already here and registered. That way you dont have to worry about anything. I hear lots of stuff gets stolen when they are shipped too.
i can get you an EK9 if you are willing to pay for it, $12,000 without a title, $18000 with a title
