    Default ***CRX AXLE PROBLEM***

    i have a 91 crx dx with a d15 mini me... but i got one problem my driver side axle keeps popping out ive went and got one for a dx and it worked for a while then the boot at the transmission end of the axle came out of the cup.... i dont know if im using the wrong axle or not but when i put my last axel on i seen that the boot was streched

    i need all the help i can get

    what axles are u using and how low is the car.

    are you still running the cable tranny or have you converted to hydro ?

    i still have the stock cable transmission and my car was slammed out at one point but i was young and dumb so i raised it back up so it about 2 to 2 1/2 inch lower than stock

    Maybe the retaining clip is too weak.

    yah thats about all the options to weak your not adjusted properly.

    you mean the clip on the end of the axle that goes into the transmission? cause ive had this happen to two different axle but the thing is the cup would still be in the transmission but the boot would be broken
