    Default Springs or Coilovers?

    Springs or Coilovers?

I have a project coming for an ek hatch and want to know what you guys think. I don't have a particular preference for comfort [lookin for this thing to run hard] but if there's anything out there that brings the best of both worlds then let me know. Thanks.

depending on your racing you may want to go coilovers...springs and struts are pretty ideal for DD, thats it, i mean springs and struts are good for some racing. i dont konw how extreme you are going though.

thats a little prelude until someone else pitches in

i hear alot of goodness about both...but not ever owning a set of coilovers in my life, i cant tell you who. but in the maxima world, tein's are highly praised...both of those are praised in the honda world, while others are too...u have to learn about spring rates etc to figure out exactly what setup you are going to want to go with.

    On a budget:

If you want softer springs, just pick up some ebay coilovers and tokico or KYB adjustable shocks/struts.
For harder springs, get the same thing, but call up Eibach and order a set of high rate springs.

Don't just get springs/coilovers, though, make sure you get shocks/struts... it won't get better!

If you're a baller, get a set of omni coilovers. I'll never go back to just springs if I can help it
