I'm 99% sure it IS illegal to ride with your hood off due to if it rains it washes all your leaks straight to the ground faster and if something breaks off, there isn't anything to stop it.

i see people do it all the time, but i'm not sure on the law side of it.
i wouldn't do it though. just makes you look like a ricer trying to show off.

I thought that all you were required to have was your lights and your bumper support. I wouldn't do it though unless you want a person to walk up to it and just take the radiator/ oil cap etc...Remember, desperate times call for desperate measures...

can't have any misc. wires or shit like that hanging out or they'll get you for faulty equip. i about got a ticket cause i had my bumper off for a day and didn't have any of the a/c shit there, but the plug was chillin and you could see it.

its a equipment violation. and yes you can get a ticket for it. but usually you have to be doing something else stupid for you to get pulled over in the first place.

you know being a ricer and loud exhaust....errr the loud exhuast falls under ricer... nvm then..

Not sure about Atlanta or surrounding area's but in the Macon/Warner Robins area, they have never cared really. My dad drove a 72 Camaro around without a hood for months until he got another one. Never got stopped about it or anything.

But, as stated above... As long as everything works, I don't think they'll mess with you.
