    Question HOW TO POLISH RIMS?

    Hey guys i wanted to kno how can i polish my rims?
    dey are painted rite now what do i have to do so i can polish them?
    or is there any shopin gwinnett that can do that????

    I believe THE BUCKY can do it.

    Or go to wheelwizard.com I got my rims for my mustang powder coated from them.

    yea, i'd just do it yourself. save you ALOT of money.
    couple hundred bucks over maybe twenty bucks to do it yourself?

    yea this has been covered many many times.
    PM steedracer. i think he's done enough wheels, he could do a set blindfolded and they would probably come out damn near perfect.

    That's a really good how to thread with pics and all...

    I am still not looking forward to polishing [the rest of] my rims... i kinda like the 1 of 3 polished look!

    Step 1: Strip the paint with Aircraft paint remover.
    Step 2: Sand like a bitch. Start with 400 grit sandpaper and move your way up through 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and if you want a real nice polish go with 2000 grit.
    Step 3: Get some polish compound, throw on a polishing pad and polish it away.

    I could get into more detail, but you get the point. And I'm sure if you search google or even HT you'd get a good write up.

    ^^ Werd. If you've never polished anything before, wheels aren't the best thing to start with lol.

    Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.
