Default broken glove box removal? help

ok im stumped...when i aquirred my new civic the latch to release and open the glove box was just gone. ive been tryin to get it off but i dont want to break it. ive removed the 2 screws at the bottom right/left hand side and played with it for prolly 3 min and just couldnt get the damn thing off
im workin on getting a pic up but i tried to put it into words best as i could of the problem im facing.
any clues on how to get the damn glove box off so i can install and totally new one that actually has a latch and actually WORKS!!!
thanks for any help in advance!

push in the sides of the glove box were the rubber bushing thing is, and you can pull it out...
