    4300k is the brightest.

10000k is almost a purple bluish....

Ive got 4300k....and LOVE IT. The only reason the blue ones look brighter is because they actually hurt your eyes....but you see less with them.

Not necessarily. 3000k is less bright than 4300k. You want to be in the middle. Naturally, white is the brightest.

It's like drinking. You can either get completely trashed and you won't be able to talk a woman home, or on the other side of the spectrum you could stay sober and have absolutely no game. Either way it kinda sucks. Get a little tipsy and you're good to go.

I'm sorry, you are right. I meant it as a general rule without thinking about the yellow 3k. 4300K is about the brightest. That's what's OEM on cars. Below or above that your lumen output decreases. I stand corrected.

4300-6k is what you want for brightness. I'm running 10k and its plenty bright, but it's not the brightest.

Seriously! I was on Spalding the other day at a light, some rice boy in a SRT 4 had 10k HID's in the halogen housings.. I couldn't believe how blinding it was.. He was on a 5-10% decline too (between Winter's Chapel and Holcomb Bridge, he was coming from Holcomb Bridge and I was at the light at the bottom of those hills).. I put my High beams and he kept turning on and off his lights trying to show me it was his low beams.. Which I knew but doesn't change the fact that his headlights are blinding me regardless of high beams or not.. And you couldn't even see his high beams when he tried flashing them because his low beams were 5 times brighter..

I had to hold my hand in front of my face it was so bright..

God damn it, people that have HID's in housings that are designed for halogens piss me off.. Fucking wannabe's.. Get projectors and stop blinding people!

    Rice boys..

    / rant.. lol

yeah thats what i had when i first put them in. on the right side i had one little stray beam of light that shot almost perfectly straight up that i never could get rid of. but when i passed some one or got behind them, never had any complaints. like i said i only got flashed maybe twice. some messican both times in riced out trucks. all it takes is a wall or road when its dark and like 15-20minutes.
