ENG CHECK LIGHT CODE

I connected the wire under tha passenger side dash

(the self diagnostic trouble code wires)

and the engine check light flashs seven times

repeats a fast seven blinks pauses then another seven

and another seven, i counted this seven time then

fig it was a CODE 7

code 7= throttle angle (tps)

How do i stop this ?

You get a new Throttle position sensor.

well wont that one just read the same, what is the prob in the first place ?

and everything is ok i can drive safely right, nothing is in harm

the problem usually lies in the TPS electrical which u really cant do much but to get the whole thing replaced. u can get TPS for pretty cheap for about 20 bucks used from any d or b series.

so new tps = Light gone no problems?

Correct. That's what's throwing a trouble code, so that's your problem. And something obviously failed inside our tps that's on your car now.

yea and they dont screw out unless ur handy so try and just find a new throttle body with all sensors attached. http://www.d-series.org is a place where you can usually pic one up for next to nothing
