I am thinking of building something for camping. Instead of a fiberglass shell on my truck I want to build a frame thats shaped like one but about 2 feet taller than the cab and use a nice heavy, fabric type (i think thats what its made of) tarp for the cover and tie/bungee cord it to the bottom of the bed to secure it. That would leave plenty of room for an air mattress in the bed and whatever else (its a long bed).

What do you think of this idea or got any suggestions on how to do it better?
