I had a problem like that on a CRX once a long time ago, It was the fues box its self. One of the circuits had burned out internally and cause the chassie to not get power. And i also think that those cars have a main wire that leaves the battery, and powers the fues box. Your really lucky, what ever went wrong is big and will be easier to find, if it were small you would be ohm testing every wire from front to back. Good luck
