    Default removing axles?

Hey, i am removing the engine out of my del sol, its an LS.

i have pulled many motors, but always have trouble getting the axles out of the tranny housing, and the half shaft.

i wanted to hear what you guys did when they got stuck, and it just didnt seem like a pry bar would get them out.

    I got a special tool !!!

first I atleast fight with a pry bar an a hammer to get the driveside out that is the easiest one!!

which I can take it out the hub and then take a hammer an tap it off the halfshaft, once its out unbolt the half shaft and it comes out easy!

when the driverside is out I take my tool and slide it into the tranny then hit it with a hammer knocking the axle out...and I am done

Sure! Nothing like pulling the knuckle apart when you have to put that axle back in.

haha, lol... thats what she said.

    - thanks for the help guys, the easiest way was to pry bar the driver side, then knock out the passenger side by unbolting the mid/half shaft.

edit: even though you cant see them... +reps to everyone in this thread
