starting problem
Car is a Civic 1994
Ok, i took off my dizzy and polished it, screwed it back on cleaned up the bay a little(engine cleaner and a rag not wet damp) an when i turn the key car will not start no attept to turn over nothing Starter smokes and area becomes real hot
have u checked all the wires at the starter an make sure they are still all connected.

I think this is the problem. Look at that broken English. I highly doubt you know what you're doing with your car. Take it to a shop.

you can also spin the motor over by taking the gas out of the car, pouring the gas onto the motor.And then lighting it on fire and watch the motor turn over !

Oh so you don't think my advice is useless I will help....
You need the following
starter
wiring harness
ecu
battery
ignition switch
and maybe a new DIZZY
seems to me like you might have 2 hot wires going to the starter.
or the started is bad.

are you sure you positioned in the exact same way back in? well heres something i just thought about, try jumping your car. maybe not getting power some how lol
stupid question but did u install it right with the key ways on the dizzy.
