    Default One Question about LS-VTEC...

I'm gonna use the Golden Eagle kit for the install of a gsr or b16a head onto my B18b1 bottom end, and the mechanical side of things i'll have no problem with..

But its the electrical/computer thing i have a small question about. What kind of ecu will i need to use to have this run? I kinda wanna try to stay with obd0 if that's possible...

Also, will an obd0, vtec ecu just plug and play onto a non-vtec harness, and if so, which ecu(s) will i be looking at to purchase?

you do not want to stay obd0...trust me. you'll need to convert to obd1 (get the conversion harness for your chassis from www.boomslang.us), a chipped p28 (call me for that), obd1 vtec dist, and you'll need to run the vtec wires. all of the instructions should be available on boomslang website with the harness. you will need to tune it since there is no stock ecu for lsvtec.
