Default I think the cable clutch needs an adjustment..?

My car is still driving with a cable clutch, but it has issues at times... Like for some reason, sometimes if i try to shift the engine from 6500+ rpms, the clutch will stick to the floor until the rpms drop just a tad. Basically thats my only issue with it, that and the fact that it doesnt allow me to switch gears as fast as i'd like to.

I checked my clutch maybe back around last October and everything looked really good, the pressureplate and the disc had plenty of friction material left on it. So, im guessing maybe it just needs to be adjusted??

you will see threads on the cable where it connects to the bracket that holds the cable onto the tranny, it will make the clutch stiffer or softer
