Integra Carbonfiber hood fitment

the hood fits ok. what the real problem is that the hood latch that is on the rad support is not "locking" the hood. if you push the hood down it will click once but does not lock it down so when you pull the hood release it pops up. any idea's. someone told me to raise the latch on the rad support.
