    Default Skunk2 intake help

Recently installed Skunk2 pro on 99 gsr. Is throwing check light, and does not like to idle. Am scared to drive to auto zone, so OBD2 reader is on way, but wanted to know if anyone ran into this as well and what it was, and what they did.

heh, soooo many things it could be...maybe IAT sensor broke while you were switching it? i have seen that happen quite often when switching manifolds. just check all your sensors and make sure they are all snug, and for god sakes make sure you didnt cross the tps with the map sensor!!! also a common problem

oh btw, you can check your codes without a reader. on the passenger side, to the right of the glove box there is a plug just under the dash in a green rubber housing. pull it out of there and jump it. then when you put your key in and turn it to III your check engine light will flash the code you are throwing. long flashes mean 10 and short flashes are 1. so like long long short is 21.

I would say you mixed your map,tps.... if you just put it on its probably throwing a cel for IAB, but that will not affect startup...Also check IAC/IAT

if you mixed up iacv or iab w/ iat you more than likely fried the iat and can fry the circuit on the ecu. check continuity from the plug to the ecu with a voltmeter before you just start moving plugs or you may be in for more repairs.
