    Exclamation little help

    ya i posted in the stereo section but hey maybe ill get an answer here...

    amp is bein a bastard...

    i connect everything you know power to battery, audio wire from head unit to amp, speaker wires to subs...but then when i connect the ground wire anywhere, the little green power light on the amp turns off...

    any advice would be greatly appreciated

    constant 12v to batt (use large gauge wire for this/fused).
    remote turn on from head unit (if turning on more than 1 amp a relay is good to use).
    rca's (self explanatory).
    speaker leads (self explanatory).
    ground (to a good exposed metal surface of the body).

    if that doesn't work you've got a bad amp or doing it wrong.

    You best bet is to take a self tapping sheet metal screw and find you a spot that isn't going to intrude on anything else and tap your ground into the body somewhere that way you have a good solid ground connection if that doesn't work reply here and I will see if I can help you further. Also check your fuses make sure none are blown.

    haha thanks for the input i found a 1 inch gap in the metal on the remote wire n there wasnt anything wrong with the insulation...weird but problem solved
