    Default Stupid manual trans question

I know a autotragic wont move without fluid but is it the same for a stick.Reason I ask it I just put a new clutch in and drove it down the street and now I put it in gear and it wants to move but doesn't.Then I see the tranny is pissing all of its fluid out.Should I fix the leak and try it or pull the trans.

well it could have seized up on you(which is the probable cause) but have you checked to make sure your parking brake isnt on

does it bog down or what does it do when you put it in gear and let off the clutch?

A manual transmission (usually) uses a dry clutch where the power is transmitted through solid material.

I'm not really sure whats going on in your case though, good luck with it.

Pretty much.I know it sounds like the clutch but thats the reason I got it so cheap. Also I drove it around with no problems.
