    Default d16z6 head gasket

    Can anyone tell me if its a good idea to put a head gasket on my self ? and is there a certain way to do it? also what do i use to reseal the head?

    it depends if it blew or you just wanna replace it* if it blew take the head to a shop and have it shaved .009 then just put the new head gasket on... no seal shiz!! If your going to do it yourself buy a Chilton manual!!!!

    If you don't know how to do it, take it to a shop.

    Yes their is a certain way to do it. Torque spec and sequences.

    To reseal the head get head resurface and a brand new head gasket
