Question about blocks and heads
I am new to honda engines and i have a 1998 acura integra with a b18c1 head.
it has a dohc v-tech. well i am wanting to get a block for it i i dont know what will work. i am looking at a 1993 ls block and making a lsv-tech...but the block
is a b18a...will it fit and will i have to do anything to make it fit?
yes it will fit, but you would have to tap the block to make it vtec compatible, or just get the golden eagle ls vtec kit
cool...thanks man. now what about pistons and rods. i have the block but it needs pistons and rods. what are some good ones i can get for this block? i have heard that ls rods are some of the best, and i am looking into high compresion pistons as well? any suggestions on that?
