Why not use 100 octane, any chip on 100 oct can get 200+ whp and 250+ wtq...if they have that program. CHIP only...some may need exhaust..but def not a aftermarket DP.

Here is what i want to see. 2 bone stock 1.8Ts (GTis, Jettas, i dont care as long as both are the same car). Same model (as in the same wheels and everything to make sure it is the same weight). Then I want them to both be filled up with the same gas (they can get it together and both have a full tank). Then I want one to get an APR chip and one to get a GIAC, then have them dyno'd on the same day, with the same person in the car. That would be the only REAL way to tell which makes more power.

There are a lot of variables that need to be considered with this, like temperature, what brand dyno it was run on, etc. With how close most of thoose numbers are I dont think it is fair to say one company is better then the other without considering EVERYTHING.

In the end the poducts are so good/comparable (both brands) that a driver will lose the race. I have ran a 14.195 @ 100.16 as bests...under the same chip on 100 oct and filter set up.. I know ALOT of guys on Vortex w/ major mods doin high 14s-low 15s. I've seen turbo swaps do mid 14s.
I had that car that just wanted to run. Everyone has a friend w/ one of those.
