    Default civic clicking

ive looked at some post but they arent exactly the same. my car makes a click when you let off the gas. i dosnt click in turns, stops when i push the clutch in, and i adjusted my valves maybe 4 days ago. could it still be cv?

if it stops when you press the clutch, then it probably has nothing to do with valves/cv axles/etc... that'd sound more like a throw out bearing issue.

^true. Could be a broken mount and the engine is rattling on the metal. Who knows. Def take it to a shop though.

depends on the shop and how far they get into looking at it.

I think most shops will charge an hour worth of labor just to do a diagnosis.

But most of the time, if you let them do the repair, they will diagnose it for free.

i say mount in tha back takes most abuse, and when your under a load then let it coast it shifts back in the cradle and if it stops when you mash the clutch is cause it has no load on it at all ne more.

another thing, did you go with a lightweight/aftermarket flywheel and/or aftermarket clutch? if so, you might be getting a little flywheel chatter. my car came with a dual mass flywheel and unsprung clutch. i replaced it with a lightweight flywheel and another unsprung clutch, and it chatters like hell when the clutch is released. if that's the case, there's not much you can do about it...it MIGHT go away when it gets fully broken in.

    Wheres it coming from?

Usually it's easier if you can tell where its coming from. Under the hood? Wheelbase?

Should be easy to at least eliminate some choices like that. CV vs a flywheel or a throwout bearing.
