tailight problem
I don't know have anyone post this issue on here yet or not. But my brother's integra tailights stayed on even with the engine off. Only way to cut it off is disconnect the battery, and it'll come back on when i re-connect the battery. Anyone know what causes this?
Does he have something laying on his brake pedal causing it to be pressed down? It sounds stupid but a guy a used to work with did that and it took him thirty minutes to realize why they wouldn't go off...

I'm guessing the switch on your brake pedal to turn them on/off is broken
Or the rubber bumper on the brake pedal is missing and there is nothing to push the switch in now
^^yeah that happened to my friends coupe I think we glued a penny to it to hold it down lol
Well he did have the apc brake pedal that wrap over the original pedal for like a year. Think that might be the case?
On 3rd gen Rx-7s, there is a little rubberized plastic donut shaped disk/bushing that suspends the brake pedal in it's unpressed position. After several years these crack and fall off and then the pedal lays on a metal contact causing the light to illuminate at all times. The pedal doesn't look pushed down and further than normal because this disk only holds it out a few mm away from contact.
