    Default Damage...What to do?

This guy backed into my car a little while ago and I'm wondering what would be the best way to take care of it.

His insurance company sent me a check and told me a shop that would fix it for their price. Any ideas on taking care of it and coming out with money to spare? Like Maaco the damage and get the paint done elsewhere? Any ideas would be helpful and much appreciated.

doesn't look that bad. if you have patience you can do that your self and get it painted somewhere else. pull the dent out, sand it , bondo it, sand it , bondo again , sand, wet sand , primer, wet sand.

Honestly, if it really doesnt bother u...let it go. If u want to fix it, take ur time with it. Try to find a used cheap door to slap on there and find a body guy to fix ur qtr panel.

They gave me a little over 1.4k and I just want it done and looking good, but I also want to have a little bit extra left over to help me buy my coilovers. I would try doing it myself but I have no experience with bodywork and don't want to make it worse.

Go to a pull apart or search for an entire door assembly. It'll be easier and cheaper. You wont have to pay labor b/c u can do this yourself. The body work you will have to find some1 to do. That'll be the most expensive part.

**** all of that. it would be cheaper to buy a door and even transfer the interior panel and window components if you had to. junk yards, car part outs on here, honda-tech, you could probably find your coil overs and your door in the same thread somewhere. at most after that it's a matter of paint.

bondo and fiberglass is all fine if u know how to use it but u can get out 95% of his damage witha little patience, a body hammer and dolly.. which is easier than installin a door keep in mind if it isnt adjusted jus right itll leak and ull be dealin with wind noise 24/7. jus fix it and be done with it...

    Boo!!! :P

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.
